Dr. Howell, PhD., P.E.
Dr. Howell has a BS, MS, and PhD in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering focus. He has been practicing structural engineering for over 16 years which includes nine years of teaching experience. At School of PE, Dr. Howell has proven experience in teaching Seismic and Structures.
Dr. Sezen, P.E. PhD
Dr. Sezen is a professor of structural engineering. He has a BS in Civil Engineering and MS and PhD in Structural Engineering. He has been teaching PE and SE courses for the School of PE since 2004. As a professor, he has been doing research and teaching courses on Principles of Structural Engineering, Reinforced Concrete Structures, Advanced Reinforced Concrete Design, Bridge Engineering, Structural Analysis, and Prestressed Concrete Design. He has received several teaching awards. At School of PE, Dr. Sezen has been teaching structural engineering courses related to PE breadth and depth exams, and SE Vertical Forces and Lateral Forces exams.
