The PE Electrical exam is the final step for individuals seeking their professional engineering license.

Before you can sit for the PE Electrical exam, you must fulfill certain requirements specified by NCEES. Although each state may have different licensing requirements, they typically will all require the following: a four-year degree from an accredited program, a passing grade on the FE, over four years of engineering experience, a background check, and a detailed work experience report. Because state requirements all vary, we suggest checking with your state board to make sure you are following the right guidelines.
