How to become a professional engineer and more information about our education programs
School of PE DOES NOT provide courses to students looking to get a degree in engineering. School of PE has been offering exam review courses for Ncees certification since 2004. We provide students with professional educators that are practicing engineers who have designed specific curriculum geared to helping you pass your engineering exam. Each engineering instructor practices in the field of discipline they teach. School of PE DOES NOT provide education to gain a degree in engineering. If you’re looking to get education for engineering, you will need to contact an accredited college or university. If you plan to take our courses, it is assumed you have first attended an accredited university and have obtained your BS.
School of PE Provides education for engineering graduates interested in earning professional engineer (PE) certifications. Each state varies as far as requirements to sit for the exams. The first exam you will more than likely take will be your (FE) Fundamentals of Engineers or (EIT) Engineer in Training exam. Once you discover if you qualify or not take the exam you may want to take a course with us. Once you have completed this education and exam process you will be ready to move to the next step of your engineering education and take the (PE) or Professional Engineer exam and select your discipline.

We offer extensive review in the fundamentals of engineering FE exams and/or EIT in some states. Our FE/EIT review course consists of approx. 70 hours of training to refresh your engineer education knowledge. Our course is designed for students that have been out of school for some time as well as those fresh out of college. With multiple engineering instructors for each review course, we make it easy for you to feel confident you will pass the FE/EIT exams.
Currently we offer PE review courses in the disciplines of PE Civil, PE Electrical, PE Environmental, PE Mechanical and PE Chemical. We also provide additional review for those who are taking the California Seismic and Survey exam. Please inform your student coordinator or select the option when registering online with us. We are also providing refresher courses for the (SE) Exam formerly known as the PE Structural exam. Our SE review thoroughly covers a majority of topics that could be presented in the SE Exam. Each of our PE Engineer Courses are approx. 60 hours long with an additional 21 hours of review for the CA Seismic and Survey exam.

School of PE will provide each student several pages of handouts/notes prepared by our instructors as a guide for the review course. This material will be available to download from student login pages one week prior to the first class and until last day of the class.
