Testimonials

"The School of PE review course played a huge role in achieving a passing score on the PE exam.  The classes and materials are very well organized and make studying easy and effective.  As a repeat examinee who didn’t take the course the first time around, I would recommend the School of PE to any repeat OR first time examinee."

COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW WITH PRACTICE SESSIONS.

NOTE: Our Fall 2010 review course for PE Structural I is the last offering.  Since NCEES is changing the exam format, School of PE will start offering review courses for the new PE Structural exam starting from Spring 2011 program.  More details on the new format will be posted on Nov 15th.

Our current PE Structural I Review Course offers thorough review of majority of the topics that will be covered in the PE Structural I Exam.  Our 36 hour review covers topics in Analysis of Structures (Loads, Lateral Forces, Later Force Distribution, and Methods) and Design and Details of Structures (General Structural Considerations, Steel, Concrete, Wood, Masonary, and Foundations/Retaining Structures).

Our 36 hour Review Course consists of Refresher Classes and Workshops:

  • Refresher Classes - Prepares students by reviewing topics that are critical for the PE exam.  The course will allow students to experience some theory and high probability problems.  All topics will be taught in approximately 18 hours.
  • Workshops - This allows our students to practice and solve several problems which are standalone and require numerical solutions.  All topics will be taught in approximately 18 hours.  The workshops will exclusively consist of solving problems which is very critical for the PE exam.

Our review course is taught by three instructors.  We believe in lectures given by the instructors who are specialized in their fields and therefore, we provide three instructors.  We do not believe in one instructor teaching all topics which most of other organizations do.

If you are planning to take PE Structural I examination, increase your confidence by enrolling in a PE Review Course offered by the School of PE. We will help you to achieve your goal by:

  • Focusing on important/high-probability topics that will appear in the examination,
  • Preparing you to possess essential problem-solving skills needed to pass the exam and become a professional engineer,
  • Covering topics in a logical, progressive manner, and
  • Making you breeze through the examination after the course.
